Clothing Care

Why?

At Studio Clay, we believe that proper care and maintenance of our clothes is crucial for their longevity and sustainability. Our clothing care page provides you with all the information you need to take good care of your garments, so that they can stay looking their best for years to come.

Read the care label

Before washing any garment, it's important to read and follow the care instructions on the label. This will give you specific information on how to care for the garment.

Wash in cold water

Use cold water to wash baby and kids' clothes to prevent shrinking or damage to the fabric. Hot water can cause some fabrics to shrink, fade, or lose their shape. Although our garments are not the case, when programing your machine use gentle detergent, sort by color and use a gentle cold cycle.

Wash separately

Wash baby and kids' clothes separately from adult clothes to prevent the transfer of bacteria and other harmful substances.

How to dry and iron

Air-drying is best for baby and kids' clothes. Lay flat or hang clothes on a drying rack to prevent shrinkage and preserve the shape of the garment. Plus, iron the clothes on a low heat setting to avoid scorching the fabric or damaging any embellishments.
